Your best bet would for sure be the akai mpk mini. It's great if you're on the go or you just like being mobile and not taking up a lot of space. The quality of the pads and keys are great and sensitivity is spot on. Novation feels so cheap compared to the mpk mini. It's just a well-made midi and it's only $100 but i'm pretty sure it's on sale on some sites for $80.
